Welcome to Marysville,
California
Marysville was the "Gateway to the Gold Fields" during the California Gold Rush in the mid-1800s. Chinese immigrants came to work the fields, bringing their culture to America. They built the Bok Kai Temple to the God of Water, still the only one of its kind in the United States.
