Missions at Schriever AFB
The 310th Space Wing of the Air Force Reserve is based at Schriever Air Force Base, and has units at Peterson, Buckley and Vandenberg Air Force Bases. These units' duties range from providing base security forces to supporting the GPS satellite constellation. Satellite Programs: Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Global, Positioning Satellite, and the Space-Based Infrared System.
