Fusion Analyst

Fusion AnalystOverview:  Once raw information has been received, it is processed into databases where it can be exploited for further analysis and converted into intelligence information.  The next step is to connect the dots and draw conclusions about its value and implications. It is then disseminated to commanders and other agencies.  Analyzing, disseminating and exploiting information derived from target network communications is the role of Fusion Analysts.

Position:  Enlisted


Specific Tasks:

  • Recover, correlate, and fuse technical, geographical, and operational intelligence information
  • Analyze intelligence information through research and assessment to determine adversarial actions and intentions
  • Provide geopolitical and operational intelligence to national agencies and military command authorities
  • Produce and present topical high-interest technical and operational intelligence briefings to all levels of command


  • ASVAB score of 62 on General 
  • Eligibility for Top Secret security clearance


  • Candidates without prior military experience are required to attend 8 ½ weeks of Basic Military Training (BMT) at JB San Antonio-Lackland, TX followed by Technical Training
  • Technical Training is 110 days at Goodfellow AFB, TX
  • College credits earned: Communication Applications Technology  – 30 credits
